I have a thing for cows. And that works out well because we're now official residents in the land of cattle.
I also have a thing about homes, and how they should have a sense of place.
Like, a home in New England shouldn't look like a home in Florida shouldn't look like a home in Colorado. Know what I mean?
So, in our new home I'm hoping to embrace my beloved cows without letting it feel like a dairy farm, or a petting zoo.
Or just a house full of a bunch of random cow paintings.
(Aren't they great, though? And that landscape of Marfa? Fantastic.)

Cows are great, but my favourite barn animal have always been PIGS! Not sure where this love of pigs stems from... Good luck on decorating your new place!
ReplyDeleteThanks Erika! Yeah, I love little piggies too - so cute!
DeleteLove the landscape of Marfa...just minutes from our annual camping trip out West!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! Does it really look like the painting?
Deletelol. I totally agree!!! As for Marfa, I''ve wanted to go there for years and I think I'm finally going to get the opportunity. Heading that way for my birthday this October. As for the cows, commit to it girl. All the way!!! They're too darn cute not to.
ReplyDeleteOoh, how fun! I bet it will be so pretty in the fall!
