From the porch of our cabin...
I hope I can see water and rocks and pine trees, snowy mountains, and animals that venture onto the lawn when something looks green and tasty.
I hope I can smell those pinetrees too, and cool snowy air from up the slopes, and smoke from the chimney.
I hope I can hear a creek running and birds calling, the voices of my loved ones and not too much else.
I hope I'm there for sunrises, storms, snows, sunny days, and starry nights. Drinking it all in from the porch of our cabin.
